Meanwhile, Sayantani Guhathakurta was last seen in Pathikrit Basu’s ‘Ke Tumi Nandini’. She will be next seen in Kamal Roy’s upcoming comedy flick ‘Total Masti’.
‘Total Masti’ also stars Shilajit Majumder and Sonalee Chaudhuri. They will be seen as the on-screen husband-wife Partho and Anjali while Sayantani will play the role of a young girl who is in relation with Partho. Shoot for the film has already started. The script and story are penned by Arindam Guha.
The actress started her career as a model and has worked for numerous serials including ‘Saat Bhai Champa’ and ‘Kiranmala’.
Sayantani Guhathakurta will also be seen in Sabyasachi Bhowmick next film ‘Teen Kanya’. The movie has three interlinked stories namely ‘Binodini’, ‘Bedsheet’ and ‘Good Morning Revolution’. The three female leads in these three stories are Ritu Parna Sen, Sayantani Guhathakurta and Amrita Chattopadhyay. The film is about rediscovering the inner self in every woman in society.
Sayantani will feature in ‘Bedsheet’ which tries to see the so-called elite class in our society. Guhathakurta who belongs to a middle-class society and what happens when a bedsheet gets stolen. Ishaan Majumder will be seen opposite Sayantani.
